Code Of Conduct For Students

Every student should carry with her the college identity card failing which they will not be allowed to enter the class, labs, library and school functions.

Students should wear the school uniform on all Class days and for school functions.

For general leave it should be entered in ‘Absentee Record’ and signed by Parents.

Students returning to school after suffering from an infectious or contagious disease should produce a doctor’s certificate permitting him/her to do so.
Students suffering from the following diseases must observe the prescribed period of quarantine before returning to class:-

Chicken Pox - Till complete falling of the scabs.

Cholera Till the child is completely well.
-
Measles Two weeks after the rashes disappears.
-
Mumps - Until the swelling has gone.
-
Jaundice - Six weeks after the recovery.
-
Repeated absence without leave or unexplained absence for more than 15 consecutive days renders the students liable to have her name struck off the rolls.

It is compulsory for the students to complete 75% of the attendance in the academic session to make them eligible to sit for final examination. The percentage however could be relaxed on medical grounds.

Students must obey Captains, Monitors and other students on duty.

Any damage done to the college property must be made good by the offender. The decision of the principal in this matter shall be final.

The observance of rules of discipline of the college and good behaviour is an essential condition to a student’s continuance in the school. In case, a student violates the school rules or indulges in any form of indiscipline, strict action shall be taken against the student.

student shall indulge in any of the following practice namely:-

Spitting in or near the college building.
-
Damaging or disfiguring the college property.
-
Rude behavior and any kind of indiscipline.
-
Use of violence in any form.
-
If a child has to be withdrawn from college, parents are requested to give one month’s notice in writing, failing which, one month’s fee will be charged in lieu thereof. Exceptions may be made in case of sudden transfer of govt. or military person and the discretion for the same lies with the Principal.

All prescribed dues must be cleared before applying for college leaving certificate.

The school reserves the right to dismiss any child from the school at any time, on any one of the following grounds:

Repeated absence of child for ten consecutive days without information.
-
Non payment of fees.
-
Undesirable conduct of a child.
-
Constant poor performance in studies.
-
Bunking Classes.
Parents are requested to pay serious attention to the following:

To see that their children come to College, neatly dressed and in time for the Morning Assembly.

To keep a check on the leave Record and late Attendance Record.
-
To notify the Principal of change of address and telephone numbers.
-
To attend College functions when invited and give the required encouragement to children by appreciating their efforts.

If you feel that you child does not make the desired progress the principal should be contacted.

Private tuitions are not permitted. Class teachers and subject teachers are not allowed to tutor their students.

Every application for a Transfer Certificate will be made in writing by the parent or guardian. A transfer Certificate will not be issued until all fee dues are paid.

It is extremely important for parents to realize that their attitude and behaviour has a direct bearing on their child’s growth and development. Lack of co-operation, misconduct, issuance of threatening letters and indulging in unwarranted communication by the parents/grand parents/guardian (s) / close relative (s) with the principal/class teachers/subject teachers would entail action against the ward, whcih could vary from warning to expulsion.

The college will make all efforts to ensure safety and security of the students during school hours. However, in case a child indulges in acts which amount to violating the rules/norms of the college, and as a consequence such child endangers her life or suffers any bodily harm, the college in no way be liable/responsible for any such act of the child.

On wet or stormy days, the college will remain open. If parents fell that the health of their children may suffer on account of wet clothes, then they may call at the school and take their ward home. An understanding with the principal and a note to the office is all that is required on such an occasion.

No student is allowed to bring/use mobile phone in the college campus.
